The first time I wrote my introduction, it was terrible, I wrote very basic information about myself, which said more about what I am than why I am here. After reading your introductions, some of your writing really inspired me to do better. So, why am I writing to you?

My name is Daniel Theuri, I am a Kenyan who absolutely loves history, and current  events. Just like World Bloggers said, we need to be informed not only about what happens today, but also what happened in the past because that is where we all came from, and the lesson trees of tomorrow are sewn in the seeds of yesterday's mistakes. We are the future, but we are also the ones writing the past for future generations, let's be better informed, so that we can make the world a better place. Well said, World Bloggers!

 I am a 16 year old (23 February 2001), as well as a junior at Rift Valley Academy. I am elated to hear that so many of you enjoy football, especially since it is one of my first loves. My favorite club is Arsenal F.C., and at the next World Cup I will be supporting France because they have so many young talents.

I look forward to dissecting the breathtaking pace of today's news, and policies, as well as politics with you!

A Trump decree is killing innocent civilians in Somalia US President  Donald Trump  loves signing executive orders. During his first year in office, he has signed dozens of controversial orders on a wide variety of subjects, ranging from national security to trade. Some of these executive orders, such as the ones on the Muslim travel ban and the Mexican border wall, received a lot of media attention and triggered protests around the world. But many other decisions by the president, causing death and destruction in faraway places like  Somalia , went considerably unnoticed.  Only weeks after taking office, Trump signed a directive declaring parts of Somalia an "area of active hostilities".
